Read MoreLEGO has produced a fantastic flock of bird-related sets over the years. With the arrival of 10331 Kingfisher Bird, we’re taking a flight of fancy and have assembled this field guide of LEGO brick-built birds.
Read MoreThere will be no Easter baskets at our house this year, for the first time in over at least 25 years. This is because we’ll be celebrating aboard the Disney Wonder, which is a pretty good reason. But if the Easter Bunny visits your house today I hope he brings plenty of yummy treats, colorful eggs and of course LEGO. Speaking of the Easter Bunny, check out this wonderful creation by Swan Dutchman. And while you’re at it, see if you can identify the two LEGO themes represented by the two smaller eggs (Easter egg Easter eggs, get it?)
Peter Cottontail made the rounds last night, and while I haven't found it yet, I'm pretty sure there's a basket around here somewhere for me. Hopefully yours is filled with all your favorite treats and plastic bricks, not unlike this one from builder cmaddison. Happy Easter everybody!
I hope all your baskets are full of yummy snacks and plastic bricks (mine was, and an Apple Watch, woot!) and you are all celebrating Easter in your own way. Builder powerpig brings us this adorable...Unibunny? She's got some eggs for you.
With the Easter holiday only one week away, JK Brickworks prepared yet another fantastic mechanized model to celebrate! If you're not familiar with Jason's work, you need to check out more of his models featured on his YouTube channel. The detailing on this MOC is very nice, especially that nest using a mix of tiles and plates. Though the detailing is outstanding, you can't fully appreciate it until you see the action. Happy Easter!
...STOMPING down the bunny trail. I hope you were looking for sturdy stuff in your Easter basket this year, because I don't think eggs and hollow chocolate bunnies are going to be compatible with the Easter Bunny's new ride thanks to builder IamKritch. It's a good thing Peeps can stand pretty much whatever punishment you can throw at them.
When someone mentions old Peter Cottontail you might be inclined to imagine a fluffy little bunny, or maybe even a fairly big bunny, all cheerful and delivering eggs. But not builder Thirdeye88, to him the bringer of eggs is a ripped uberhare with a Batman t-shirt. Happy Easter everyone!
I've never really been able to wrap my head around the Fabergé Eggs. I mean I understand sprucing things up, maybe even making the mundane magnificent, but eggs? That was until I saw these jeweled egg MOCs from builder Koen. If those famous Russian eggs opened to reveal cute little minifig scenes then it would have made a whole lot more sense to me, at least around Easter maybe.
LEGO mechanical genius JKBrickworks is back with another fantastic project that you can build yourself, just in time for easter! The egg decorating machine is a fairly simple gadget and has been around for ages, I remember playing with the "Decoregger" when I was a kid, but with the addition of LEGO EV3, it's all the more fun. Head over to the Jason's website for everything you need to build your own.
It's the perfect invention! You know, so you can open your Easter eggs, eat some chocolates and celebrate spring with your buddies! It's a whole lot of Easter fun from builder Powerpig. Happy Easter everyone!
I mean why not? It makes as much sense as a bunny that delivers chocolate eggs right? (no offense Easter Bunny, I'd still like a basket with some LEGO and maybe some Whoppers) This Pikachu from builder zkdlalsxm brings back a lot of memories of my son attempting to "catch 'em all", and he's posable, most impressive.
It's Easter morning. I noticed the bunny was here and I spotted some LEGO in my basket. Soon the house will smell like spiral cut ham and I'll be gorging on chocolate and playing with bricks, does it get any better? I didn't notice if there were any Peeps in my basket, but I think I like these from Siercon and Coral better anyway. Happy Easter everyone!
