War Rig

Generally we don't feature digital builds here on BrickNerd, but when they're as phenomenal as this one by Nicola Stocchi we'll make an exception. Behold the War Rig, driven by Furiosa in Fury Road and expertly recreated at minifig scale. This beast looks ready to conquer the wasteland, and thanks to exceptional lighting and rendering by Gabriele Zannotti, it's as beautiful as it is badass.

Queen Aurora

Every once in a while a MOC comes along that is so colossal, so epic, that it's hard to wrap your head around. The Queen Aurora by builder messerneogeo is just such a MOC. When pictures of this started popping up on Flickr I found myself saying "what is this? Is it really that big?" Well, it it might be digital, but that doesn't diminish the truly staggering scale of this and the amount of work that has gone into no only the build, but the presentation. Click through for many more pics, and be prepared to be astonished.

SDCC Is In Full Swing

I generally don't feature digital builds, but since I'm presently at SDCC and speaking tomorrow on a panel (Looking at Beyond The Brick: A LEGO Brickumentary at 5pm) I'm immersed in all things nerd, this MOC caught my eye. It's actually a good example at how building digitally can actually be way harder than just getting out the bricks (assuming you have them). Having recently dealt with flexible elements in a digital model, I know how tricky this was.
