Megs and Brickbot are back for more building adventures in The LEGO Adventure Book volume 3, the latest of this quirky and fun series from No Starch Press. I'm so happy for my friend and author Megan Rothrock for getting to do what she loves, and when you read one of these books you can sense that love. She brings together a unique combination of top notch builders from around the globe, building instructions for awesome models and fun story telling that appeals to all ages. All presented in a comic-book like narrative featuring caricatures of the builders and a host of other characters.

Shooting "Star Clutch"

It always feels really awkward to blog my own stuff, but I'm really proud of my involvement in the LEGO Adventure Book Volume 2 and I finally posted some pictures on Flickr yesterday. I was also feeling the need to prove that I do build from time to time, it's just all top secret stuff anymore. Many, many thanks to Pete Reid for loaning me the corridor. That's him working on the blip on the table.

The LEGO Adventure Book Volume 2

The veil of secrecy has been lifted and I can finally share this news: I'm in the next LEGO Adventure Book!!! As you can tell I'm very excited about this book, and very proud to be a featured builder in it. Megan Rothrock contacted me late last year to ask if I would be involved and I jumped at the chance.

No Starch Press announced the German versions of The LEGO Adventure Book, Vol. 1: Cars, Castles, Dinosaurs & More! and The Unofficial LEGO Technic Builder's Guide. I can't speak nor read German and I'll spare you the comedy of using Google Translate to generate some German wit.
