The Lost Subway Commercial

This is a weird one. Apparently back in the 90’s a small central Pennsylvania Subway franchise ran some ads of questionable religious overtones and quality. They only ran locally, and seem to have been lost to time. Builder Julius von Brunk is on a quest to hunt them down, and has created this equally odd MOC to perhaps jar some memories. Chinatown

As a testament to how much there is to see at a LEGO convention (or perhaps to how easily distracted and clueless I am) I don't recall seeing this at BricksLA 2018. How the heck did I miss it?!? As if a highly detailed street scene isn't difficult enough to built, Benjamin_Rose added a steep hill to his brilliant Chinatown street. And with the space created added a subway surprise on the back side.

Turnstiles

Yes, they're technically gates, but everyone still calls them turnstiles. And if you're in a city with a train or tube, you probably have a card in your wallet right now. Builder kosbrick repurposes the paint roller handle seed part of this month's Iron Builder as gates, and now the minifig population can get to work.
