LEGO Contest Round-Up for September 2024

A new month is upon us which means more competitive building! Are you ready? Here’s the latest bunch of LEGO contests and challenges from all around the AFOL community for September 2024 to help you find some inspiration and motivation to build! There’s nothing quite like a theme or a prompt to take you out of your comfort zone and give you something new to try. Besides, contests are the perfect place to interact with other contestants and judges and get to know your fellow builders. And if you’re like me, a deadline helps make sure you actually finish!
We’ve listed them in order of deadline so you can plan your building time to the best advantage. Make sure to check the LEGO activity calendar for local challenges and events near you. Here at BrickNerd, some of our fondest memories, greatest building achievements, coolest trophies, and best friendships came from LEGO contests, so we really hope you try some of these out. We look forward to seeing what you build!

Mosaics can be a powerful therapeutic application of the LEGO hobby. Now through September 23, post a mosaic and collaborate with @tipsandbuilds to be eligible for LEGO prizes!

Prize: All participants will be entered into a random prize drawing for a chance to win some LEGO!

September’s theme is Un-Minifigured - show us some official de-minifigured sets.
The idea is simple: choose an official Lego set that includes minifigs, remove the minifigs, and photograph this set while mentioning the number of the set you are photographing in the bio of your photo.
There are a multitude of possible choices: modulars, buildings, and vehicles....the most important thing is to be creative to make this set lively enough!

You're invited to build and share your mini version of a Series 3 Finalist in this activity. Squeeze those big ideas into a miniature masterpiece. Showcase your creativity, hone your building skills, and celebrate the essence of the BDP Series 3 Finalist models!

Prizes: A badge for all participants, and each of the five finalists (one for each of the five Series 3 models) will receive a copy of the Series 3 Finalist set that their model represents!
