Cube Your Enthusiasm Contest: The End is Nigh!
/Time’s a-ticking, BrickNerd fans! The clock on the Cube Your Enthusiasm contest is running out—tomorrow, in fact, at precisely 11:59 Pacific Time.
“What is this contest,” you ask?
“Where have you been!?” I reply. “Haven’t you been paying attention!? Didn’t you read the first post? And what about when we launched digital parts last week!? Geeze!”
Okay, enough with the dramatic reenactment. Let’s review, shall we?
The Seed Part(s):
Cube and Loopy Thing. Any color, any number, any condition, part or whole. Cube is a must. Loopy Thing is extra credit.
The Prizes:
The coveted Golden Nerdly trophy! And various swag in a BrickNerd Box.
And sheeps! SHEEEEP! Highly collectible, easily stackable, and perfect for recreating your favorite scenes from Clarkson’s Farm. What could possibly go wrong?
Cube Your Enthusiasm Rules (read them aloud as fast as you can)
All entries must be new creations. Entries may be updated as long as the contest is still open.
Entries can be posted either on Flickr or Instagram. A link to your entry should be posted in the Cube Your Enthusiasm Flickr thread using the hashtags #CubeYourEnthusiasm and #BrickNerd. If you do not have a Flickr account, you can use the hashtags and tag us on Instagram and we’ll post a link to your entry for you. Please only add one photo/submission of each entry to this group (extras will be removed).
You may enter as many times as you want with unique creations.
Anything is permitted as long as it features the seed parts. Any scale, any theme, modding, painting, using multiples, photography, digital, crafting, video, or destroying is allowed. Entries should primarily focus on the LEGO. Using the cube is a must, the loop is extra credit.
These rules or the prizes may be modified at any point.
The contests ends on September 12th, 2021 at 11:59 pm PST (7:59 am GMT on the 13th for the Europeans). Winners will be announced a few weeks after.
The contest will be judged by BrickNerd contributors who will evaluate entries based on quality, presentation, composition, concept, creativity, and usage of the seed parts.
So there you have it, BrickNerd fans! Just a few hours to go, but still plenty of time to enter. Simple enough, right? How hard can it be? Go cube your enthusiasm!
