A Minifigure's Nightmare

Okay, I know this is a fearsome Tiki Shaman who clearly eats every part of a minifigure but the torso, but oh, those toes! Jake aka Mountain Hobbit brings us a cute, well-crafted figure - just the person to threaten your minifigures with when they misbehave.

This MOC was built for the opening round of the Iron Forge. It features as the seed part an armless minifigure torso used as the Shaman’s eyes and the skulls around his waist.

I always like to hear a bit more about the thought process behind a build so I asked Jake a question: Did you look up tiki warriors for inspiration or did you just wing it?

“I had a basic idea of what I wanted to make and had a few tiki warrior concept arts that I was inspired by.”

I’ve recently started using concept art for inspiration in my own creations, and I can definitely recommend the practice!
