A Bag of LEGO Halloween Eye-Candy
/It’s a special time of year here in Vermont; the leaves are changing, snow-blowers have replaced barbecues at the local hardware store, and the Halloween decorations are everywhere.
Shannon Sproule has captured the mood, although in a more arid environment, with his Desert Dreamer. Not sure how Jack got in that hollow tree, but the full moon and long shadows all add up to Spooky!
Now for a different kind of terror, GolPlaysWithLego has come up with a Terminator-type futuristic robot, the Amazon Goblin, to not only destroy your precious next-day packages, but go back in time to take out Sarah Connor. Good luck with that!
Now for something that’s not homicidal. BrickNerd’s own Dan Ko has a trio of light-hearted Halloween micro-builds, perfect for decorating your own little corner of the cube farm or sharing with co-workers. Especially the ones who are stocked up with your favorite treats-Sharing is caring!
With a convincing mix of LEGO elements and a scaled natural setting, Lego Inspire’s, The Bone Collector, is a downright creepy character. A zombie serial killer perhaps? Demented forensic anthropologist? Whatever he is, this guy’s up to no good!
Last but not least, Simon Liu, another esteemed BrickNerd contributor, celebrates the spirit of Halloween with this festive Pumpkin MECH. Not only is the orange frame in-tune with season, it’s primary function is to transport even the heaviest of pumpkins, since they can be hard to handle sometimes. Especially if they’re a little damp.
(He actually built it for MECHtober2021, but since it’s orange and all, I figured I’d include it.)
So there you have it, gang! A random sampling of some nifty Halloween builds—and an orange mech.
As a dentist, I have to advise caution in the consumption of cavity-causing and tooth-fracturing goodies. Halloween to the Super Bowl, at least in North America, is a tough time for teeth.
Remember to brush after every meal, and always before bedtime! And don’t use your teeth as a brick separator, either. Yeah, you know who I’m talking to…
